Hey, You.

Headshot of creator of website. She has red short hair and is in a light pink top. Background is light pink and brown.

My name is Michelle, and my trans son led me on a deeply personal journey of growth and accountability.

My own advocacy showed me that most people want to be engaged and active in struggles for equity, they just don’t always know how to do the work and are afriad of making mistakes.

The Ally Education Collective focuses on providing tools and resources to help people engage with the issues they care most about with confidence.

In a world that is full of misinformation and noise, finding reliable information is difficult. Add to this the general impatience, hostility and distrust that seems to have taken hold in most spaces, and you have an environment that makes people more cautious and uncertain about stepping up and in.

Still, people want to live in a way that aligns with their highest values.

Oftentimes, the courage and confidence to take action come from having a real and solid understanding of what you most care about.

The Ally Education Collective starts from the assumption that growing your understanding requires safe space where you can be vulnerable and sink in at your own pace.

The tools and resources here are meant to engage you personally and encourage the kind of thoughtful and sometimes difficult work that is the root of long-lasting personal growth.

I hope that in this space, you will find some of what you need to face hard truths, reconcile your beliefs and actions, and live a life more aligned with who you want to be in this world.
