Anti-Racist Ally Education

From the start, I want to be clear and transparent: I am a white, middle-aged, cisgender woman. Much of what you'll find here is rooted in my own personal growth journey that started with leaning into earnestly dismantling some of my own default settings around gender for my trans son.

Anyone who has done similar work for themselves knows what happens next: You realize all the systems you've been unconsciously consuming your entire life—from cultural to institutional to structural—are interconnected.

You can't work on changing one without inevitably stirring up most every other.

And so as I started to dig deeper into my own unconscious assumptions around gender, I also started to interrogate most every other aspect of my personal experience. What I found is that if I wanted to help build a world that deserved my son, I first had a lot of work to do myself.

We live in a time where we need an honest reckoning; we need everyone to sink in, hold their defenses at bay, and really consider how they want to show up in this world. This space is meant to help you do that.
